MI Library access suit might have lasting effect

Anonymous Patron writes The Oakland Press Reports A Bloomfield Hills resident is suing the Bloomfield Township Public Library for full access to library services – a case that some local officials say could change the way all libraries do business.

“If he prevails in this, libraries all over the country will be affected,” said Bloomfield Hills City Commissioner Patricia Hardy during a hearing Wednesday at the Oakland County Circuit Court. “This could change a lot of rules and regulations down the road.””
