Mary Sicchio, special collections librarian at Cape Cod Community College loves her work, maintaining historical artifacts from the days of whaling in Cape Cod.
In addition to manuscripts, personal papers, genealogical resources and historic photos as well as the works of Cape Cod authors, playwrights, poets and historians, Sicchio maintains a collection that includes scrimshaw, a whalebone pie crimper, and busks, the “rigid element” of a corset (so glad those things are history).
