Just in time for the summer conventions, “Sisters”, a novel of the American west written by second lady Lynne Cheney in 1981, will reappear in print says this MSNBC story .
The book, to be sold by Left Bank Books in St. Louis, will attempt to raise money for GLBT causes. Store co-owner Kris Kleindlenst says, “What better way to foster educational opportunities for the younger generation of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people than to raise money through the sale of Lynne’s lost life chapter, she said. “We’re promoting patriotism by promoting shopping and leaving no GLBT child behind. from the Houston Voice .
UPDATE:Here’s the URL for a special page on the Left Bank Books website detailing how a portion of the income from book sales will benefit the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force.
Humor Alert……
Perhaps an elementary school library should add this to their collection?
Who says librarians don’t have agendas!!!
Quite obvious, looking at this posting. Of the hundreds of new books coming out every month, this one just got promoted!!!
Just visit http://www.InternetFilters.org/stories.html for more examples!!
Re:Humor Alert……
You could view it as the patriotic thing to do. Afterall, we ARE speaking to a well-known cultural diva who is also the wife of the most powerful man in America.

Re:Page on Left Bank website
Why is there a task force concerned with the way in which people use their genitalia? Is there a national onanism task force?
