Lynne Cheney’s Lesbian Novel Reissued

Just in time for the summer conventions, “Sisters”, a novel of the American west written by second lady Lynne Cheney in 1981, will reappear in print says this MSNBC story .

The book, to be sold by Left Bank Books in St. Louis, will attempt to raise money for GLBT causes. Store co-owner Kris Kleindlenst says, “What better way to foster educational opportunities for the younger generation of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people than to raise money through the sale of Lynne’s lost life chapter,� she said. “We’re promoting patriotism by promoting shopping and leaving no GLBT child behind.� from the Houston Voice .
