Louisville Library Getting Outpouring of Donations After Flood

So far, the Library’s Flood Recovery Fund has raised about $60,000, but the library’s losses — including the massive damage to the building’s heating, cooling and electrical systems — cost nearly a hundred times that. Buthod and Hunt say they are still waiting to find out how much insurance will cover.

    Well…
    that is why you have insurance, to cover loss in case of accidents or incidents.
    If the insurance won’t cover it it’s someones fault for not working out the costs or reading the contract, or as I’ve seen happen in many places they self insure thinking the damage/loss is only likely minimal and can be paid for another way, then thats someones elses responsibility and someone else that will need to explain their decisions.
