Loose-knit group forms to protest any removal of books from Fayetteville school libraries

Anonymous Patron writes Here’s Word on a group of folks protesting the protestors protesting to remove books from Fayetteville, Arkansas. They have no name or organized structure but a group of local residents are ready to speak out in support of keeping books in Fayetteville school libraries where students can check them out.

They plan to make their side of the issue known to the Fayetteville School Board during a public comment session Sept. 13 when the board will hear what patrons have to say about a mother’s claim that more than 50 books in school libraries are too sexually explicit and promote homosexuality.”
