LISWiki.com has just 3 wanted pages Currently Listed:
Open stacks (3 links)
Open stacks movement (3 links)
Library funding (2 links)
You might also want to check out some of the stubs. Stubs are placeholder articles that haven’t really been developed at all. They are a good place to start editing on LISWiki if you’re out of ideas. You can view a list of stub articles here.
Just 3? hardly
That list of three is just a auto-generated generated tally of existing links (of 2 or more) already in existing articles which point to empty space. (hope that made sense)
A truer list of wanted pages would be a compendium of every exposé written on a topic by library school students, plus a list of library terms in existing LIS dictionaries, plus developing all stubs…. well, there’s a lot more than three!
Pipe dream? who knows. I’ll admit the site as it is now is more of a proof-of-concept than a functioning encyclopedia. But there’s been some great community and collaborative work done in a few areas already.
So why not have a look at see what you can do to make it better?
