Inspired by the scene from ‘Gone With the Wind’ where the characters sew while one reads from a book, librarians at the Stillwater Library have begun a monthly sewing circle @ the library… here’s the thread.
While the participants sew, they listen to librarians Carla Hickey or Recilla Horms read from various books. “Sometimes Carla and I will pick a theme and sometimes it’s just a random thing,” Horms said.
