LISNews Week In Review

It was a pretty quiet week @LISNews this week. School board plans to monitor student blogs has some interesting comments. Ender, I thought, had an especially interesting take: “I’m waiting for some slander, libel, privacy invasion, etc cases against the parents of some of these bullies. It’s going to start getting expensive quick, instead of being resolved at the school-level.”

Another interesting group of comments could be found on >Is the lifting of library fines long overdue?.

A report out of Cleveland was one of the more popular stories of the week. Michael Gorman alienates and divides our profession was the other.
In the journals Shoe Says she’s feeling better these days, AshtabulaGuy has an upcoming talk, and kstoops is looking for information about blogging in school libraries.
