Library services in this community are in doubt after voters narrowly rejected a 1.25-mill tax request Monday to fund the Tecumseh District Library. The 20-year millage levy was defeated by 66 votes – 1,138-1,072 … For more than 100 years, the Tecumseh Public Schools operated a community library, but last June, the district announced it would cease support of the library.
