Library loses bias suit ruling

News From Fulton County, GA, where the library has lost another round in a fight to avoid paying about $17 million to seven white librarians who won a discrimination lawsuit against the county’s library system.

A three-judge panel of the 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals upheld the 2002 judgment against the county last month, but Fulton officials asked for a re-hearing before the circuit’s entire panel of 12 active judges.
