Library Gets Items From Kennedy’s Presidency

Here is a
story from the NY Times about the efforts
of the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library
to get important bits of Kennedy memorabilia. "For years, curators at the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum here have had a quintessentially New England problem: they were missing a winter glove. This was no ordinary glove, but the one that President Kennedy wore on his left hand on the day of his inauguration.
On Wednesday, the faded suede glove became part of a pair again, as the absent one was among thousands of notes, documents and objects, including a Kennedy rocking chair and an ink pen set he used to sign treaties and bills, from the Kennedy presidency that were turned over to the library and unveiled for the first time."
