Libraries Remember
Our programming team actually discussed doing the 24-hour thing, but decided against it for security reasons mostly. We are located in a heavily-taverned, transient-friendly area. I imagined that most of our visitors would be liquored up or looking for a place besides the underpass to hang out. I suppose that would be in the spirit of the program, but it just didn’t seem like the greatest idea to me. Not for us, anyway. Besides, I turn into a pumpkin at 10 p.m.

I think stuff like this is great! Our libray is opening for “11 straight hours” b/c we weren’t able to quite pull off the 24 hours in a row thing.
