Valentine’s Day may be long gone, but it’s not too late to meet your mate…@ the library.
Singles who like to read are descending upon libraries across Belgium as part of an experiment in what two librarians have dubbed “lib-dating.”
By designing a new place for singles to find love, complete with candles, flowers and red wine, creators Eric Van der Straeten and Danny Theuwis, librarians from Antwerp, are hoping to draw more people to books by appealing to their hearts. A good idea, as people who love books usually love meeting other people who love books.
