Librarians Shudder When They Hear His Name

An Anonymous Patron writes The AP reports that

most of the suits claim his rights have been violated by those who don’t like the fact that he is homeless and unkempt. He received $230,000 in settlements and nationwide publicity that still has librarians shuddering when they hear his name mentioned after being kicked out of a library in Morris County.

“It sounded so romantic, this poor homeless person oppressed by the library,” said library director Susan Honeywell Gulick, who dealt with Kreimer as the library’s local historian and archivist during the suit. “It was a matter of what he did. I don’t have a lot of sympathy for people who are obnoxious to other people trying to use the library.””
