Troy Johnson writes “Librariansbookclub.org has selected the book “The Island of Lost Maps: A True Story of Cartographic Crime” as the August book selection. The book is about a man that plundered numerous libraries of rare and antique maps. The book was recommended by one of our members that is an archivist in a medium sized public library. She stated, “I wish that I could make every user and potential user of special collections read this book.”
