Librarian uses Internet to reach teens

Anonymous Patron writes “Here’s a headline from ABC7Chicago.com that could have a terrible ending: Librarian uses Internet to reach teens.
Don’t worry, Angela Dubinger, librarian at The New Castle-Henry County Public Library, isn’t doing anything bad. posts messages regularly on a teen Web log maintained by the library, and her instant messaging screen names are on the library’s Web site.

She also has helped form an advisory council that will meet once a month to try to come up with new activities for young library users.”
