James H. Billington, the Librarian of Congress is on a visit to Iran to acquire a range of materials for our national Library. The process of acquiring publications from that country ceased after Iran’s revolution in 1978-79.

More likely that the books will get trashed/and or confiscated by airport monitors when he returns. Hope he didn’t bring his nail scissors with him.
