Librarian discusses popularity of cookbooks

This is a local story from South Florida about the popularity and variety of cookbooks, but still applicable to many public libraries. According to Greenacres (FL) branch librarian Ann Kasper,

Cookbooks are popular year round. Some books are definitely seasonal, but we have cookbooks for any type of situation, from Chinese to Northern Italian, low cholesterol and heart-healthy — just about anything anyone could want.

At the library where I work, the cookbook section is probably one of the biggest and most popular areas; right up there with true crime.
