Lewd Behavior At Public Libraries Investigated

Shocking acts of indecent exposure, sexual harassment and people recruiting teenage girls for questionable purposes – it’s all happened in public libraries around the metro area.

WSBTV poured over thousands of reports and complaints and found that libraries are not as safe as you might think.

Public libraries are open to everyone. You don’t need a membership card to get in. And while most of the time, public libraries are quiet places to study, read and use the internet, we found librarians consistently have to deal with people who use the libraries for indecent – even illegal – acts.

    Um okay…
    While Blake put this in the from the Duh dept, I have to put this story in the Owie ow ow dept; not because of the content but more because reading it broke my brain. I think I need a tea and a quiet lie down.

    I think that was written by a three year old. I realize it was probably just dressed up a bit from copy that was read on the news, but if you dress up a pig it is still a pig albeit in a nice frock.

    I hate when people say “At the end of the day.” What the hell does that mean. It has no meaning it is just another annoying catch phrase stupid people use to sound as if they are not stupid. Verbosity != brilliance.

    At the end of the day there are perverts in the library. OK, it must be ratings week at the TV station for them to expose this bit of breaking news.

    What substance did the reporters pour over the reports and complaints? Beer? Maple syrup? The blood of a thousand kittens?

    Not sure why they just didn’t go with the story they obviously wanted to tell – about Clive Richards and his harem. Wouldn’t that be even more shocking? Because really, this isn’t exactly breaking news.
    On the other hand, this might serve as a wakeup call to parents who drop their kids off everyday during the summer.
