Letting the public know

nbruce writes “I was browsing the website of the Mt. Morris Public Library, a lovely, recently remodeled building in my home town. I happened to notice that on the web site the policy on library cards mentioned that the average resident family pays $52.00 a year in taxes for support of the library. It is that figure that is used in the charge for non-resident family cards.

What a bargain–a dollar a week for an entire family. Where else but the public library can you get that kind of return on your tax dollar?”
