Lab boat named after librarian

Anonymous Patron writes “Everyone who has a boat named after them please raise your hand. If you’re not Sheila Baldridge you are probably lying. Monterey County Heraldn reports the librarian at the Moss Landing Marine Laboratory is being honored by the lab by naming a research vessel after her, the Sheila B., a 32-foot flat-bottomed aluminum boat.

I’m sure it’s an honor, but did they need to call it a “flat-bottomed” boat?”
