Since she made her announcement to run for for President of the United States, the Clinton Presidential Library has received over fifty requests for information about the White House years of the former First Lady. Only four requests have been granted according to this article from Newsmax.com, a definitively right-wing news source.
According to the article, officials at the library blame the delay on the sheer volume of requests, but Newsmax also points out that the Clintons’ longtime personal lawyer Bruce Lindsey has control over the 138-million-page archives documents and can reject any request.
No sources other than Newsmax.com are reporting this story.

Well I have several thoughts on this.
1) Who cares, what really can be dug up in old appointment books and papers. Do they expect to find? 12:30 Whack Vince Foster, 1:00PM Tea with ladies from Hadassah. Please.
2) NewsMax is not what I consider a bastion of journalistic integrity. (The Huffington Post it is not either – in fact I rate that lower, but nor is it the IHT).
3) Why are they making a big deal out of the PRA? What is good for the goose is good for the gander. If the records are closed by PRA or FOIA they will be listed as closed records and those lists are promulgated frequently. Since we can’t expect Mr. Clinton to sit in the archives and review all the requests it is not improper that Mr. Lindsey do so. I see less conspiracy and more bureaucracy than anything else. I don’t think anything in government is organized enough to be a conspiracy.
I did hear this on the radio this morning, but I really don’t care. Sure, I’m no supporter of Mrs. Clinton, but what is gained by this crapola. I’d rather have those who stand for election discuss what they plan to do not what they have done. I’d also be much happier if they actually did it, but that is a whole other rant.
Re:BFD
Hillary was supposedly co-president during the Clinton years, she even headed up that little attempt at universal healthcare. I’m sure there are a lot of interesting bits of information there.
Normally I wouldn’t care much either but she’s running for president and she’s going to try and minimize what happened in the 90s as much as possible.
Re:BFD
Don’t we already know the crap she pulled?
Re:BFD
You and I? Yes. Everyone else? Yes. But denial is tougher with documentation.
Re:BFD
They’ll just send some clown in to stuff incriminating documents in his shorts.
