Indianapolis Library ex-chief awaits answers

The Indy Star has an interview with former Indianapolis-Marion County Public Library chief Ed Szynaka.

The former library boss says his health has improved, life is a little more calm now, and he’s lost 27 pounds. He has been at the center of a controversy swirling around the county’s library system.

Szynaka said some board members complained that he wasn’t in the office enough, working instead from home. Some critics say that he bulled ahead with library projects, refusing to listen to opposing views, and that he did not communicate well.
