iLoo apparently was working concept

Many conflicting stories about the iLoo, Microsoft’s combo Internet access point and portable toilet. Picked up by CNN, Wall Street Journal, and verified by a Microsoft exec, the story made the rounds all last week. Monday, however, it was dismissed as a hoax by representatives of Microsoft. Tuesday’s scoop from Mr. Gates’ company was that the iLoo was a wacky, but legitimate concept cooked up by Microsoft’s British MSN division. The concept was canned after the negative and derisive public discussion of the project. Here’s the current poop from zdnet.
