Strange Story From California where Staff members, parents and others at a community forum Thursday pitched a performing arts center, small classroom improvements, a vocational education building and other projects to Lincoln Unified School District trustees considering how to spend $20 million in recently discovered school bond money.
Earlier this school year, district consultants found that school bonds worth about $21 million, part of a $40 million bond measure voters approved 15 years ago, never were issued.
