Letters have gone missing: documents, receipts, correspondents between the famous and not so famous. Family heirlooms that give insight to our heritage.
Forty-eight of those historical documents are now in the hands of a Waco family, and the state has filed suit to regain them. The state archives commission says that the documents are official records and that they belong to the people of Texas.”
