Jay writes “Answers Corporation (NASD: ANSW – News), creators of answers.com, the answer-based search engine, announced today that Answers.com will provide reference resources across homeworkNYC.org, a new website homeworkNYC developed by The New York Public Library, the Brooklyn Public Library and the Queens Public Library. The site will assist students throughout New York City with their homework, research and studies. homeworkNYC.org was developed by all three library systems, in coordination with the New York City Department of Education as part of the “Learning in Libraries” initiative, supported by The Wallace Foundation. “Learning in Libraries” focuses on changing the way libraries serve youth outside of the classroom.
