Higheredblogcon – virtual conference on blogs

Jay writes Higheredblogcon is a virtual conference scheduled to be held in April 2006. Brief description: “HigherEd BlogCon aims to bring together in a single Web space many of the leading players who are transforming academe with their use of the new tools of the Social Web.

Modelled after Global PR Blog Week 2.0, Higher Ed BlogCon will focus on the use of blogs, wikis, RSS, podcasts, vblogs and other digital tools in a range of areas in academe.” Proposals-Library-Public is the home for proposals for presentation submitted for the Library and Information Resources. Meredith Farkas will be chairing the Library and Information Resource track for the conference.

Jean-Claude Bradley from Drexel University will be chairing the Teaching track. This will be an excellent opportunity for librariand and information professionals to share how they are developing and using blogs and other technologies in higher education.”
