Helen Keller Services for the Blind Gets $250k

Great news for users of the Helen Keller Services for the Blind (HKSB) Braille and Large-Print Library! Louis Anzalone will give a $250,000 donation to the library.

“I wanted to return something to HKSB, especially to children who are blind or visually impaired. It is so important that they are able to further their education with Braille and large-print books, as I was able to do,” Anzalone said in a statement. “I am fortunate to be able to spend my life working hard and now am able to give to a noble cause that I believe in. That”s how I want to be remembered.”
