Harvard Librarian Loses “Pretty” Discrimination Suit

The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination have dismissed claimes against Harvard by librarian Desiree Goodwin, who said that she was passed up for promotion because of her race and gender.

Goodwin, who has worked as a library assistant at Harvard since 1994, claimed in the lawsuit that she had been rejected for seven promotions at the library since 1999.

Goodwin, while still employed at Harvard, is looking for jobs elsewhere. More here from CNN.
