Govdocs librarians are standing by

Daniel writes “If you have a question involving federal government information, try taking it to the specialists in government information at http://govtinfo.org, a group of 30 Federal Depository Libraries providing chat reference (U.S. Central Standard Time): Monday through Thursday, 8am to 8pm, Friday 8am to 5pm. Or send them your e-mailed question 24/7.
Chat can be done anonymously and e-mailed questions do not need names, just an e-mail address.

    Plus I occasionally staff the service, so you know it’s good! 🙂

    Seriously, it’s a very nice useful program, especially for librarians who don’t have documents collections or skills with gov’t info. I’d wager that about half of the questions coming through are from fellow librarians.
