Google’s New Project This Week: Literacy

CNN Reports that Google has founded, along with LitCam and UNESCO’s Institute for Lifelong Learning, The Literacy Project:

Google Inc. unveiled on Wednesday a Web site dedicated to literacy, pulling together its books, video, mapping and blogging services to help teachers and educational organizations share reading resources.

So, like the Google Pack, it seems to be nothing new, just a repackaged portal to some of Google’s services. Like, wow, how literacy-minded of them.
