Google May Add Purdue to List of LIBs

MYSTERIOUS search-engines-web.com spotted a Report That James L. Mullins, dean of libraries @Purdue, said Google has expressed interest in Purdue’s strengths regarding engineering and science and has requested a list of Purdue’s collections. “We in the libraries are very excited about this,” Mullins said. “It means better access to material that is already in the libraries.”
A freshman in the College of Liberal Arts, Siriapismai said the library’s environment is more conducive toward studying than if she returned to her residence hall. “It’s easier to get work done here,” she said. “That’s what libraries were meant for.”
