Google Librarian Center (New Service)

G writes “Just noticed the
Google Librarian Center via a post on ResearchBuzz. Not much is posted yet as it is quite new, but it has an interesting premise and over 5,800 members signed to the GLC group already.

The premise appears to be a newsletter and possible forum service in which librarians can share ideas and lesson plans regarding methods of incorporating Google and its services into the library. This would presumably include training tips for librarians to use to teach others, and themselves, effective searching methodology via Google. Further thoughts on this are posted at Library Bitch.”
