George County, AL, school board stands by banned books decision

Following up on This One The George County, Alabama, School Board has declined to lift its ban on three books, including John Steinbeck\’s \”Of Mice and Men.\”

The board, however, voted Tuesday to create a committee \”made up of a true representation of this county\” to review concerns or complaints about supplementary books and materials used in the classroom.
