Gay parent books should be banned from school

Good News for fans of censorship from Australia. NSW Nationals leader Andrew Stoner today demanded the state government ban from primary schools two children’s books depicting gay parents.

The books, The Rainbow Cubby House and Koalas on Parade, which deal with gay and lesbian parents, were written by eight-year-old Brenna Harding and her lesbian mother Vicki, two-thirds of the family depicted in the controversial My Two Mums segment on ABC TV’s children’s show Play School.

why not?
Maybe they could go one step further. They could ban gay parents from attending any school function. If having a book about gay parents is bad, imagine what having to confront the real thing would be like. And worse yet, they might seem like real, decent, folks (they hide the horns, ya know).

Then we ban their children too! That way they won’t fill our precious children’s heads with lies about tolerance!

Absolutely. Go back to segregated schools. Make sure people with disabilities are re-institutionalized. Demand that girls are firmly directed into the Home-Ec track.

Real, decent folks don’t regale others with stories of their sexual proclivities at the PTA.
