If you’re on the lam from the law, you probably shouldn’t stop at your library to check your MySpace page, but that’s exactly what Darrin Bates did at the Main Branch of the Philadelphia Free Library. And he got caught.
He escaped from a jail in Georgia in June of 2006, but was recaptured after librarians at the Philadelphia Library tipped off police last December.
I guess his MySpace….
I guess his MySpace is now about 6′ X 8′ with a bunk and a metal commode bolted to the wall.
I don’t see where the librarians turned him in, in fact from this article it seems to be MySpace and the ISP who worked to catch him. here. Either, way don’t let the cell door hit you in the arse on the way in.
