Former GA library director convicted of theft, witness tampering

Macon Telegraph Reports A federal jury convicted former Ocmulgee Regional Library System director David Wilson on Friday on five counts of theft and one count of witness tampering.

The jury of seven women and five men deliberated about 4 hours before returning with a guilty verdict on all counts. Wilson will remain free on bond until his sentencing hearing.

Wilson, who served as regional library director for 22 years, faces 10 years in prison on each count, plus a $250,000 fine.
