Few women authors have progressive goals

One From Iran. The number of Iranian women authors who hold progressive goals are few and far between observed a noted lady novelist.

Nahid Tavasoli told ISNA on the eve of the National Day of the Pen, which was observed on July 5, that Simin Daneshvar is great Iranian author who follows ideal goals in her books ’Su va Shoun’, ’Astray on an Island’ and ’Wandering Cameleer’.

She said that author Monirou Ravanipour also pursues ideal goals as is evident from her books ’Heart of Foula’ and ’Men of Drowned’. However, Goli Taraqi, who mainly writes about her nostalgic memories, is not very concerned about idealistic goals.
