Ex-Librarian Returns to Cincinnati Library…This Time As An Author

Maureen Millea Smith credits her work at the Cincinnati Public Library for inspiring her to become a writer. On July 30, she’ll be returning home to read from her first novel, (she’s currently at work on her second…) When Charlotte Comes Home.

“The library and my community of colleagues were invaluable mentors and teachers for me, and trained my mind to help me develop my professional habit,” she said. More from the Cincinnati Enquirer.
