Enthusiastic Readers –PBS Wants Your Book Review

A special project for PBS is in the works, and the Center for New American Media wants to recruit ‘enthusiastic readers’ of all ages and ethnicities to participate. The CNMA has been commissioned by the National Endowment for the Arts to develop a series of three-minute video pieces (PSAs), each of which will feature an “excited retellingâ€? of the following three classics: To Kill A Mockingbird, The Great Gatsby, and Catch-22.

They’d like to hear: Exciting plot points. Remarkable scenes. Interesting characters. How you felt the first time you read it. Anything you think would convert someone into a potential reader. If you are interested in taking part in this project, please contact [email protected] and inquire about “NEA ArtsBriefs”.
