UNITED KINGDOM, February 2007 — Emerald Group Publishing has acquired the EuroMed Journal of Business to complement the stable of eight titles already in its international business portfolio. This acquisition is a great start to 2007, the year that Emerald celebrates its 40th anniversary of publishing excellence.

The journal will feature new research papers from and about the European and Mediterranean region, focusing on all aspects of business, including marketing, new product development, taxation, business process reengineering, international banking, CRM, retailing, advertising and logistics.

Edited by Dr Demetris Vrontis and Dr Petros Lois, who are both based at Intercollege, Cyprus, the journal aims to publish well-written readable articles with broad appeal and a truly international relevance. Dr Vrontis says, “We wanted to expand the journal’s visibility, readership and credibility. We thought that Emerald was ideal to support our efforts towards this direction.”
