Embattled libraries: Help us lobby

Bob Cox spotted This Philly.com Article on Pennsylvania libraries. Withering from a recent 36.5 percent drop in state aid, libraries throughout Pennsylvania have cut hours, laid off workers, slashed services, and stopped buying books.

Worried readers should volunteer to help with fund-raisers or make a check out to their local library.

Better yet, librarians suggest, people could write to the governor or phone their representatives, and call for more library support.
