Dot-kids bill clears House hurdle

CNET says The U.S. House Energy Commerce Committee has cleared \”The Dot Kids Implementation and Efficiency Act\”.

They\’ve added prohibitions to keep out \”high-risk interactive services\”, things like instant messaging, chat rooms, e-mail and links that lead outside of the domain.

They also say the full House could vote on the dot-kids bill as early as next week.
