Admins of the Payson Public Library in Arizona are in the process of examining a new, and old way, to cut costs on library heating bills. Using biomass heating technology, they could heat a library for around US$50 per year. While Arizona is known for its heat, Payson’s location at a higher elevation provides for some chilly winters. Though the administrators haven’t hammered out the final decision, it does look attractive in both a fiscal and environmental sense.
