Constantly crashing computers frustrate Dixon library director

After months of struggling with computer problems, Dixon (MO) Librarian Charlotte Henry asked city council members Monday night to consider paying for cable modem service in addition to the existing DSL phone line with Windstream so the library has at least one way for patrons to access the Internet when needed.
“We are losing patrons because they are in the middle of a report for college and the Internet goes down and they lose everything,” Henry said. “Our computer people say the reason we are having so many problems is we are running too many computers off of one line.”
