“Vermonters thinking of buying a new or used personal computer will get a better deal if they wait until this weekend. The state will hold its second annual tax holiday from Aug. 7-9. New or used personal computers bought during the three-day period are exempt from Vermont’s 6% sales and use tax, and any local options tax.” Read More.
North Carolina Sales Tax Holiday
North Carolina also has a tax holiday for back-to-school buying, including computers. It will be August 6-8, 2004 this year.
