Google Reader - Debuts in Beta

Search Engines WEB writes "Google Reader constantly checks your favorite news sites and blogs for new content. Whether a site updates daily or monthly, you can be sure that you won't miss a thing. Google Reader shows you all your favorite sites in one convenient place. It's like your inbox, for the web."

Is there any difference between Google Reader and feed aggregators like Bloglines? Looks like an RSS reader to me and not quite a "Inbox for the Web", which in my mind would let you track pages whether or not it carries an RSS feed.

But maybe I'm missing something.

Thanks for sharing though. It looks like a nice RSS reader.

I don't think you're missing anything. I think the "Inbox for the Web", is just marketing thing. I've found Bloglines easier to use in the past, but maybe the new Google interface makes more sense than the older one.
