Columbus librarian receives NY Times award

nbruce writes The Short North Gazette cover story for January 2004 is about Sarah Mackey, a Northside branch (Columbus Metropolitan Library) librarian who received the New York Times Librarian Award.
Mackey grew up on a tobacco farm 15 miles from the nearest library. She got her MLS from the University of Kentucky in 1995, and loves her job as assistant manager and youth services librarian at the Northside branch.
