College Library serves as Sioux polling place

Native Americans of the Standing Rock Sioux tribe came to Sitting Bull College Library yesterday to vote in the North Dakota Democratic primary.
(story here) Tom Dickson, North Dakota’s Democratic chairman, said party officials were not sure how heavy turnout would be as
“We don’t know what to expect. We’ve never done it before,” he said. The area is heavily Democratic, but not many members of the tribe have previously voted. One student quoted said he voted for Howard Dean based on his appearance on a late night TV show.
